Before I started Studying, I did some research about the exam and found a Reddit post by Scolop3ndrid and he passed his exam in 3 days,(It's a great read). In the Post he talked about the practice exams by Testprep, This was a great tool as after I finished my courses I did a few days of the exam questions in practice mode, which showed the explanation for the answer and this helped a ton, as some questions were not in the courses and, I learnt it from the exam.
So Firstly I started the Dion Training Course and this course is great but I would recommend that if it is your first time learning technology to start with the TIA Course as it is shorter and helps understand the basics. Then Move on to the Dion Training Course, This course goes into detail and I recommend having a quiet place to learn as some topics can go over the head, Just rewatch the videos until you understand. After finishing the courses I started the exam questions and just did those for around 4-5 Days and took screenshots of questions I got wrong or did not understand, this helps when recapping at the end.
Overall the exam was great, but even with prior knowledge some topics like databases were a bit harder and took a while longer to understand. In the end i got 708, it could have been better but still a pass and the knowledge gained is very much worth it.
Step-by-Step Guide for you-
- Start with the TIA Course on YouTube. (6 Hours)
- Buy and Start the Dion Training Course on Udemy. (12 Hours)
- After Finishing Both Courses, Buy and Start Exam Prep Questions. (Do the questions on Practice mode as it shows an explanation)
- Book Exam (With Dion Training you get a cheaper rate for the exam).
My Main Tip
Don't try to Memorize the questions, Understand how the right answer is right.
